Born on a U.S. military base in Germany and raised in the Bay Area before moving to Atlanta, Xavier Dotson fused church organ training with trap.

He helped launch Gucci Mane's career, became a defining trap producer, and crafted Migos's "Versace" and much of Future's early sound.

He is regarded as one of the pioneering architects of the modern Atlanta trap sound.
