Trick Daddy

Raised in the Liberty City neighborhood of Miami, Maurice Young emerged from one of the city's toughest areas to become a local rap icon.

With anthems like "Nann" and "I'm a Thug," he became a cornerstone of Miami hip-hop and co-founded the city's sound alongside Trina and Slip-n-Slide Records.

He charted several gold and platinum albums and is celebrated as a foundational Miami artist.

Trick Daddy helped put Miami street rap on the national map in the late 1990s and 2000s.
