Born in Hampton in 1979, Curry was one of the most decorated high-school athletes in Virginia history in both football and basketball.

Career

A quarterback at the University of North Carolina, he converted to wide receiver in the NFL with the Oakland Raiders and later became an NFL assistant coach.

He was a two-time national high-school player of the year before his professional career.
