A Long Beach native and stepbrother of Dr. Dre, Warren Griffin helped connect Dre with the young Snoop Dogg and formed the group 213 with Snoop and Nate Dogg.

His 1994 smash "Regulate," with Nate Dogg, became a multi-platinum signature of the G-funk era, anchoring his debut "Regulate...G Funk Era."
