Early life

Born in East Harlem to Black Panther activists, Tupac studied acting and poetry at the Baltimore School for the Arts before moving to the Bay Area, where he entered the music industry.

Career

Bursting out with "2Pacalypse Now" in 1991, he fused political consciousness with raw street narratives across landmark albums "Me Against the World" and the diamond-certified "All Eyez on Me," while also building a film career. He was fatally shot in Las Vegas in 1996.

Major achievements

He has sold over 75 million records worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
