RZA

Born Robert Diggs and raised between Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York, RZA immersed himself in kung-fu cinema, chess, and Five-Percenter philosophy as a youth, developing the conceptual vision that would lead him to assemble and mastermind the Wu-Tang Clan.

As the group's de facto leader and producer, he crafted the gritty, soul-and-dialogue-laced sound of the landmark "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)" and orchestrated an unprecedented business strategy that let members sign solo deals across labels. He later became a film composer, director, and actor.

He produced one of the most influential albums in hip-hop history, scored films for directors like Jim Jarmusch and Quentin Tarantino, and directed "The Man with the Iron Fists."

RZA is revered as a visionary producer and cultural architect whose Wu-Tang blueprint reshaped hip-hop's sound, mythology, and business.
